Lot contains: (A) Army Officer dagger with hanger, (B) early SA dagger, (C) Naval Officer dagger, and (D) Army Officer's dagger. (A) Heer dagger made by "WKC" in overall excellent condition. Dagger has an excellent blade with light runner marks, excellent cross-graining and scattered light marks, with very light freckling near the tip. Crossguard and pommel cap are very good, with some discoloration to the finish. Trylon grip is excellent. Scabbard is excellent with some areas of freckling on the lower half. Correct hanger assembly with dark green backing in very good condition and correct portepee in fair condition are included. (B) Very early SA dagger made by "J.P. Sauer & Sohn" in overall excellent condition. Dagger has an excellent blade and moderate runner marks. Excellent cross-graining and a coat of cosmoline are present on the blade. Very early rosewood grip with solid nickle fittings are very good, with light scattered marks. Very good scabbard has anodized finish, with areas of freckling on the sides, covering about 10% of the surface. Very good solid nickle fittings have scattered light marks. Screws on scabbard fitting appear to be untouched. Dagger includes the correct early hanger assembly. (C) Kriegsmarine dagger made by "WKC" in over excellent condition. Dagger has an etched blade in excellent condition. Crossguard and pommel are solid brass with a brass wire wrapped trylon grip in excellent condition. Hammered brass scabbard has three dents on the lower half, slightly bending the scabbard. Includes proper hanger, with all fittings on hanger and scabbard made of brass. (D) Heer Officer dagger made by "Robert Klaas" in overall near mint conidtion. Balde is excellent, with some runner marks, and light scattered marks. Thick nickel plating on crossguard and pommel, they and the trylon grip are in near mint condition. Scabbard also has think nickel plating and is in near mint condition. Near mint portepee is attached.
