Lot contains (A) 1st Model "RLB" Dagger and, (B) 2nd model "RLB" dagger. (A) Early "RLB Subordinate" dagger manufactured by "W.K.C." with a near mint steel blade. Blade exhibits light runner marks. Grip is an original black ebony type, however it appears that the cross guard and pommel cap are possible reproduction replacements. Scabbard is near mint plus condition with over 96% of its original finish remaining. Scabbard nickel plated fittings are in excellent condition and exhibits areas of wear on the lower inside which is consistent with being worn. (A) Late "RLB Subordinate" dagger manufactured by "Gustav Spitzer" with a near mint steel blade. Blade exhibits light runner marks and several areas of light freckling. Grip is an original black ebony type, however it appears that the cross guard and pommel cap are possible reproduction replacements. Grip emblem shows signs of enamel damage and repair. Scabbard is near mint condition, with over 92% of its original finish remaining. The scabbard's nickel plated fittings are in excellent condition with areas of light freckling and scattered light marks.
