Hitler Youth Leader Dagger manufactured by "E. F. Horster" - "RZM M7/36". The overall condition of the dagger is excellent. The nickel plated blade, etched on the front with the Hitler Youth Motto "Blut und Ehre", is in excellent condition with a few nicks on the blades cutting edge and light runner marks. The maker's RZM code, "M7/36", is etched on the upper reverse of the blade for the maker "E. F. Horster". The silver plated cross guard and pommel cap are in excellent condition. The wire wrapped wood base grip is in near mint condition with an even patina. The silver plated fittings, with dark blue leather, wrapped scabbard is in excellent condition. Some shrinking to the leather on the scabbard has occurred over time; the lower half portion of the leather has lost its adhesion to the metal scabbard and slides a little. Overall this is a great example of a Hitler Youth Leader Dagger, and a rare chance to own one.
