Early 20th century, England or France. Each fish of this nice example carved from the solid and retaining early if not original paint. A carved wood band around the tail simulating a strap. Sign retains original iron hanging bracket. Painted surfaces are well worn and weathered commiserating with age and exposure. Wear and weathering as noted. One secondary fish separating at seam, in need of stabilization. Fins are intact. Good to very good overall.
