Handel table lamp has leaded glass shade with striated green leaves setting the background for clusters of five pedaled pink flowers. The top of the shade is decorated in a caramel slag honeycomb pattern. Shade signed with applied "Handel" tag. The shade rests on a Handel stick base with inverted saucer foot and three socket cluster. The base is finished in a rich brown with subtle green highlights and is topped with a replacement fleur de lis cap. Signed on the underside of foot "Handel". The shade is 18" in diameter, base is 22-3/4" tall. Shade is very good to excellent with a few tight hairlines. Base is very good to excellent with some very minor wear to finish. Rewired with contemporary plastic cord. CORRECTION: Although this shade is marked with a Handel tag, there is debate in the industry whether Handel actually made these periwinkle shades, as the Unique Art Glass and Metal Co. was known for this style. We do not guarantee the shade is Handel.
