Lot contains: (A) "Wingen" Lion Head sword, (B) "Luneschloss" Lion Head sword, (C) "Voos" sword, and (D) unmarked Lion Head sword. (A) Third Reich Lion Head sword marked "Anton Wingen" with a 32" blade in overall excellent condition. Blade is in near mint condition, with light runner marks and scattered light marks. Ruby glass eyed gold plated white metal fittings have about 80% of their plating. Wire-wrapped trylon grip is excellent. Scabbard retains 85-90% of its original black painted finish with scattered marks and areas of freckling near the tip. (B) Third Reich Lion Head sword marked "P.D. Luneschloss" with a 33" blade in overall excellent to near mint condition. Blade is in near mint condition, with light runner marks and scattered light marks. Ruby glass eyed anodized brass fittings and wire-wrapped trylon grip are excellent, with two twisted wire strands missing. Scabbard has more than 95% of its original black painted finish with scattered light marks and and five minor dents. (C) Third Reich Lion Head sword marked "Emil Voos" with a 29" blade in overall excellent condition. Blade is in near mint condition, with light runner marks and scattered light marks. Ruby glass eyed brass fittings and trylon grip are excellent, with light dried polish remaining. Scabbard retains 90-95% of its original black painted finish with scattered marks. Throat fitting is missing. (D) Third Reich Lion Head sword is unmarked with a 32" blade in overall excellent condition. Blade is in excellent condition, with scattered light runner marks, scattered light marks, and areas of light freckling and blemishes about 10%. Ruby glass eyed anodized aluminum fittings and wire-wrapped trylon grip are excellent, with a couple of the wire strand being loose. Scabbard retains 80-85% of its original black painted finish with moderate scattered marks.
