Lot contains: (A) unmarked Lion Head sword, (B) unmarked Lion Head sword, and (C) unmarked Panther Head sword. (A) Third Reich Lion Head unmarked sword with a 31" blade in overall very good to excellent condition. Blade is in very good condition, with light runner marks, scattered light marks, and has been heavily polished. Ruby glass eyed gold anodized aluminum fittings have over 95% of their plating, and appears to have been lacquered. Trylon grip is excellent. Scabbard has been repainted and retains 85-90% of its finish with scattered marks and areas of light freckling near the tip. (B) Third Reich Lion Head unmarked sword with a 31" blade in overall near mint condition. Blade is in near mint condition, with light runner marks and scattered light marks. Ruby glass eyed gold anodized aluminum fittings and wire-wrapped metal grip are excellent, retaining 90% of its black finish. Scabbard retains 90% of its original black painted finish, with scattered light marks and freckling to the lower half with a 5" strip of finish missing on the front edge. (C) Third Reich Panther Head unmarked sword with a 32" blade in overall very condition. Blade is in good condition, with the entire front edge having small dings, blade having been heavily polished, and 45-50% light freckling. Ruby glass eyed gold anodized aluminum fittings and wire-wrapped trylon grip are excellent. Scabbard retains 75-85% of its original black painted finish with scattered marks and freckling.
