Lot contains: (A) "Eickhorn" sword, (B) unmarked sword, (C) "Luneschloss" sword, (D) "Klaas" sword, and (E) "Forster" sword. (A) Third Reich Dove Head sword marked "Carl Eickhorn" with a 30" blade in overall very good to excellent condition. Blade is in overall excellent condition, with scattered light marks, but the blade is bent about 1/2" from the tip. Brass fittings and wire-wrapped trylon grip are also excellent, with a few strands of the wire being loose. Scabbard appears to have been repainted and retains more than 96% of that finish. (B) Third Reich Dove Head sword which is unmarked with a 32-1/2" blade in overall near mint condition. Blade has some scattered light marks, and is in near mint condition. Brass fittings and wire-wrapped trylon grip are also near mint. Scabbard retains more than 95% of its original black painted finish. (C) Third Reich Dove Head sword marked "P.D. Luneschloss" with a 32-1/2" blade in overall excellent to near mint condition. Blade is in near mint condition, with scattered light marks and a couple spots of freckling near the cross guard. Brass fittings and wire-wrapped trylon grip are excellent, with some dried polish remaining. Scabbard retains more than 90% of its original painted black finish with light scattered marks throughout. (D) Third Reich Dove Head sword marked "Robert Klaas" with a 33" blade in overall excellent to near mint condition. Blade is in near mint condition with scattered light marks. Brass fittings and wire-wrapped trylon grip are excellent, with a few strands of the wire being loose. Scabbard retains more than 90% of its original painted black finish with light scattered marks throughout. (E) Third Reich Dove Head sword marked "E. U. F. Horster" with a 33" blade in overall excellent condition. Blade is in near mint condition, with light runner marks and scattered light marks. Brass fittings and wire-wrapped trylon grip are excellent, with a few strands of wire being loose. Scabbard retains 80-85% of its original painted black finish with areas of freckling on the wear, and light scattered marks throughout.
