Lot contains: (A) "Holler" Dove Head sword, (B) "Puma" Dove Head sword, (C) "Winger" Lion Head sword, (D) "Alcoso" Lion Head sword, and (E) unmarked Lion Head sword. (A) Third Reich Dove Head sword marked "F.W. Holler" with a 32" blade in overall excellent condition. Blade is in near mint condition, with light runner marks and scattered light marks. Brass fittings are excellent with the initials "HB" engraved on the cross guard shield. Wire-wrapped trylon grip is also excellent with a quarter inch chip on the left side with dried polish remaining. Scabbard retains 75-80% of its original black painted finish with scattered marks and freckling in the worn areas. (B) Third Reich Dove Head sword marked "Puma" with a 32" blade in overall excellent condition. Blade is in near mint condition, with light runner marks and scattered light marks. Brass fittings and wire-wrapped trylon grip are in very good to excellent condition, with a couple of wire strands being loose and dried polish remaining. Scabbard retains 85-90% of its original black painted finish with scattered marks, freckling near the tip, and three dents within 13" of the tip. (C) Third Reich Lion Head sword marked "Anton Wingen" with a 32" blade in overall excellent condition. Blade in near mint condition, and has some light runner marks and scattered light marks. Ruby glass eyed brass fittings and wire-wrapped trylon grip are in excellent condition with some dried polish remaining. Scabbard appears to have been repainted and retains more than 96% of that finish, with a dent 10" from the throat. (D) Third Reich Lion Head sword marked "Alcoso" with a 33" blade in overall very good condition. Blade has been lightly polished and is in excellent condition, with scattered light marks. Rudy glass eyed brass fittings and wire-wrapped trylon grip are also excellent. Scabbard, which appears to be an Imperial German dress model, is very good to excellent with light freckling. (E) Third Reich Lion Head unmarked sword with a 29" blade in overall excellent condition. Blade is in near mint condition, with light runner marks and scattered light marks. Ruby glass eyed gold anodized aluminum fittings and wire-wrapped trylon grip are excellent to near mint. Scabbard appears to have been repainted with more than 90% of that finish, with scattered marks.
