Lot contains: (A) "WKC" Dove Head "Reichsbahn" sword, (B) "Eickhorn" Dove Head sword, (C) "Alcoso" Dove Head sword, and (D&E) "Eickhorn" Dove Head swords. (A) Imperial Dove Head NCO sword marked "WKC" and with a "Reichsbahn" emblem and the numeral "17" under the crossguard. Sword has a 32" blade in overall excellent to near mint condition. Blade is in near mint condition, with light runner marks and scattered light marks. Brass fittings and wire-wrapped trylon grip are also excellent to near mint. Scabbard retains 90-95% of its original black painted finish. (B) Imperial German Dove Head sword marked "Carl Eickhorn" with a 33" blade in overall excellent condition. Blade is near mint, with light runner marks and scattered light marks. Nickel plated fittings and wire-wrapped trylon grip are also excellent, and grip has a 1" crack near the top. Scabbard retains about 85% of its original black painted finish with scattered marks and freckling to the worn areas. Includes a portepee. (C) Imperial German Dove Head sword marked "Alcoso" with a 30" blade in overall very good to excellent condition. Blade is in near mint condition, with light runner marks and scattered light marks. Gold anodized brass fittings and brass braided wire-wrapped trylon grip are in excellent condition. Scabbard retains 50-55% of its original black painted finish with scattered marks and freckling throughout. (D) Imperial German Dove Head sword marked "Carl Eickhorn" with a 32" blade in overall very good to excellent condition. Blade and cross guard has several early "WaffenAmpt" markings, unit marking, and serial number. Blade is in excellent condition with light runner marks, scattered light marks, and a few spots of freckling. Brass fittings and wire-wrapped trylon grip are in excellent condition with some dried polish remaining. Scabbard retains 65-70% of its original black painted finish with scattered marks and freckling. Scabbard has a "WaffenAmpt", unit marking, and serial number which match the sword. (E) Imperial German Dove Head sword marked "Carl Eickhorn"" with a 33" blade in overall very good to excellent condition. Blade is in near mint condition, with some light runner marks and scattered light marks. Brass fittings and wire-wrapped trylon grip are also excellent. Scabbard retains 65-70% of its original black painted finish with marks and freckling throughout.
