Lot contains: (A) Dove Head Sword by "Holler", (B) Dove Head Sword with Sword Knot, (C) Dove Head Sword by "ALCOSO", and (D) Dove Head Sword with Unmarked Blade. (A) The Dove-Head German Army Sword made by "Holler" is overall in very good condition. The 32", chrome plated blade, is maker marked for the company of "Holler", and is in very good condition with approximately 20% light freckling and scattered light marks throughout. The zinc base metal grip fittings and hand guard are in very good condition with approximately 70% of their original gold wash remaining. The wire wrapped black trylon grip is in excellent condition with light patina and a stray wire. The black metal scabbard appears to have been repainted at some point. There are light scattered marks and a few shallow dents with approximately 5% paint loss. (B) The overall condition of the Dove-Head with Sword Knot is excellent. The 32", maker marked, chrome plated steel blade is in near mint condition with only superficial marks from sheathing the blade. The gilded aluminum hilt and hand guard are in excellent condition, with approximately 80% of the gilding remaining. The wire wrapped black trylon grip is in near mint condition, with areas of dust and natural patina. The black painted metal scabbard is in very good condition with a few small dents and scattered marks. The scabbard retains approximately 80% of it's original black paint. (C) The "ALCOSO" produced Dove-Head Sword is, overall, in excellent condition. The chrome plated, 31" blade is marked with the "ALCOSO" trademark and is in near mint condition. The gilded brass hilt and hand guard are excellent. The wire wrapped black trylon grip is intact and without damage. The black painted metal scabbard has scattered light marks throughout and retains approximately 95% of its paint. (D) The Unmarked Dove-Head Sword is, overall, in very good condition. The chrome plated blade is near mint. The brass hilt and cross guard have a dull, even, natural brass patina throughout and the retaining pin in the grip has fallen out. The wire wrapped black trylon grip retains 90% of the original black trylon, with some cracking and chipping. The black metal scabbard retains approximately 90% of the original black paint, with scattered marks throughout.
