Lot contains: (A) Lion Head "Holler" sword, (B) Panther Head "Eickhorn sword, (C) Lion Head "Eickhorn" sword, and (D) Panther Head "Wingen" sword. (A) Imperial Lion Head sword marked "F.W. Holler" with a 33" blade in overall very good to excellent condition. Blade is in excellent condition, with light runner marks and scattered marks. Blade is bent 1" from the tip, and there is a moderate dent on the edge 16" from the tip. Silver/nickel plated fittings are in good to very good, and wire-wrapped trylon grip is excellent. Scabbard has been repainted and has a 1/4" hole on the edge 16" from the tip. Nickel plated fittings are in good condition. Includes a Prussian sword portepee. (B) Imperial Panther Head sword is made by "Carl Eickhorn" with a 32" blade in overall very good condition. Blade is in excellent condition, and has some light runner marks and scattered light marks. Gold finished brass fittings retain 50-55% of their finish, and wire-wrapped trylon grip is excellent. Scabbard retains 40-45% of its original black painted finish, with scattered marks and freckling throughout. (C) Imperial Lion Head sword marked "Carl Eickhorn" with a 31" blade in overall excellent condition. Blade is in excellent condition, and has some light runner marks and scattered light marks. Brass fittings are near mint and wire-wrapped trylon grip is very good with three areas of chipping on the left side. Scabbard has been repainted and retains 95% of its finish with scattered marks. (D) Imperial Panther Head sword marked "Anton Wingen" with a 33" blade in overall very good to excellent condition. Blade is near mint, with light runner marks and scattered light marks. Ruby glass eyed brass fittings and wire-wrapped trylon grip are excellent, with some wire strands being loose and dried polish remaining. Scabbard retains 45-50% of it original blued finish with scattered marks and freckling to worn areas.
