Third Reich Reich Prison Officials Sword made by "Carl Eickhorn" in, overall, excellent condition. The Third Reich Prison Official Sword is one of the more uncommon swords to find from this regime. The 32-1/2", chrome blade is in near mint condition, with a few superficial marks and small nicks to the cutting edge. The blade is maker marked with the company logo for firm "Carl Eickhorn". The gilded aluminum hilt and hand guard are in excellent condition with light wear to the top of the eagle head. The blade's retaining pin appears to be a possible replacement. Slight movement in the parts on the grip have been noticed. The wire wrapped black trylon grip shows dulling from age, as well as a few light scattered marks. The black painted steel scabbard retains 95% to 98% of its original black paint, with one small dent on the top third of the scabbard. This sword would be a prized piece in many collections.
