Early Third Reich Prison Officials Sword in, overall, excellent condition. The 34", chrome plated, "Weyersburg" maker marked blade is in excellent condition with some light freckling in areas. The blade is engraved with a dedication, initials, and the date "1934". The brass hilt and hand guard are in near mint condition and feature an engraved shield with the initials and date "1934". The black trylon wire wrapped grip is in excellent condition with some white residue in the creases, possibly from a cleaning agent. The black painted steel scabbard is in very good condition with scattered light marks and 85% of the original black paint.
