A Third Reich Prison Officials Sword in, overall, very good condition. The 31-1/2" chrome plated blade is maker marked for the firm "WKC". The blade has a few nicks along the length of the cutting edge, light freckling and scattered marks throughout. The solid brass hilt and hand guard are in excellent condition. The eagles eyes are inlaid with green glass jewels, and the guard is decorated with oak leaves and acorns. The grip is shark skin wrapped with an aluminum bound cord decorating the grooves. The black painted scabbard has a matte appearance with consistent freckling throughout from age. The scabbard throat fitting is missing its retaining screws.
