Lot contains: (A) Dove Head Sword, and (B) "Holler #21" Sword. (A) The Dove Head Sword is in, overall, near mint condition. The chrome plated blade is 30-1/2" in length, and is maker marked for the company of "E. Pack". The blade is in near mint plus condition. The gilded white metal hand guard and hilt retain 90% of their gilding. The wire wrapped black trylon grip is in near mint condition. The black painted steel scabbard is in excellent condition with only light scattered marks and some freckling in areas. This sword also has a brown leather hanger attached to the scabbard. A black leather knot is attached to the grip. The hanger is excellent with only light scuff marks. (B) The "Holler #21" Sword is in very good condition. The Holler maker marked, 30", chrome plated blade is in excellent condition. The blade has a few nicks on the cutting edge and light superficial marks in some areas. The solid brass hand guard and hilt are in very good condition, with some play between the fittings. The fittings and black trylon grip have a white residue in the recesses, and are without damage. The black painted steel scabbard retains approximately 95% of its black paint. A white, over the shoulder, cloth and leather sword hanger accompanies this set. The hanger is in near mint condition with some minor moth nips to the wool pad.
