This Third Reich Era SS Officers Candidate Sword is, overall, in excellent condition. The 34" unmarked steel blade is in near mint condition with light scattered marks throughout. The black ebony grip, hand guard, ferrules, and retaining cap are in excellent condition with a few light scattered marks throughout. The steel based, black painted scabbard is in very good condition with scattered marks, a few very small dents from wear, and some freckling throughout. The upper and lower pressed on scabbard fittings are in excellent condition with areas of light freckling.
