Lot contains: (A) Miners model sword, (B) 31" Lion Head sword, and (C) 35" Lion Head sword. (A) Imperial German Miners sword with a 32" unmarked in overall very good to excellent condition. Lightly triple etched blade is in good condition, and exhibits 35-40% freckling with scattered light marks throughout. Brass fittings, and wire-wrapped trylon grip are in excellent condition. Leather scabbard with brass fittings is also in excellent condition. Brass scabbard fittings have six or seven 1/4" dings. (B) Imperial German Lion Head sword is marked "Paul Weyersburg & Co" and has a 31" triple etched blade in overall excellent to near mint condition. Blade is near mint, with light runner marks and light scattered marks. The ruby glass eyed fittings and wire-wrapped trylon grip are in excellent condition. Black painted scabbard retains more than 95% of its original finish, and has several light dings near the tip. (C) Imperial German Lion Head sword marked "Paul Weyersburg & Co" and has a 35" triple etched blade in overall excellent condition. Blade is excellent, with light runner marks and scattered light marks. The ruby glass eyed fittings and wire-wrapped trylon grip are in excellent condition. Black painted scabbard retains 80-85% of its original finish, and has one deep dent near the hanger fitting and scattered marks throughout.
