Third Reich SS NCO Degen made by "Peter Dan Krebs". The overall condition of this Degen is excellent. The 33" steel blade is maker marked for "Peter Krebs". The blade is in excellent condition throughout, with light graying and freckling in areas. The silver plated hand guard and fittings are in very good condition, with light wear to the silver plating and a few scattered marks. The SS marked pommel nut is loosely fitting. The black wooden grip is in very good condition, and retains approximately 50% of its factory black lacquer finish. The black painted scabbard is in very good condition, but appears to have been repainted. There is a dent to the lower portion of the scabbard. A chained leather sword hanger and black SS sword portepee accompany this Degen.
