An SS Officers Degen which is in, overall, very good condition. The 29", Peter Dan Krebs marked blade is in excellent condition with light graying throughout and some freckling in random areas. The hand guard and fittings are in very good condition with minor lifting to the silver plating on approximately 20% of the fittings. The black wooden, wire bound, grip with SS emblem is in good condition. There is a small amount of white residue in the recesses and some chipping to the wood, mostly near the pommel end. The black painted steel scabbard has scattered light marks throughout and a small dent near the upper throat fitting. The scabbard condition rates excellent. An original SS sword knot accompanies this Degen. The knot is in near mint condition.
