Standard configuration with 24" round barrel, tangent curve rear sight, double pull single trigger, and hinged floorplate marked "Germany". Side wall of action and receiver ring both marked with Waffenfabrik Mauser name and address, left side of receiver ring with "U.S. 1906" and serial number. Matching classic bolt has pear-shaped knob. Relatively plain European walnut stock has checkering at grip only, steel grip cap, schnabeled forend, sling loops, right hand cheekpiece, and measures 13 - 5/8" over composition buttplate with Mauser logo. CONDITION: Fine, as refinished. All metal parts retain over 95% re-blue over numerous marks and light scratches. Stock retains nearly all of an oil refinish over some marks. Checkering re-cut. There is a repaired 1" crack on left side in grip checkering starting just behind bottom metal. Bore is very good to fine, lightly pitted at breech end (may clean). Action is smooth. MGM15
