Made in 1925, this Parker Bros. SC Single barrel trap features 32" Acme Fluid Steel barrels and has a low profile matted ventilated rib. The large forearm is nicely checkered in standard SC Grade pattern and has standard engraved Deeley release. The action is engraved in typical SC Grade pattern with shaded scroll on sides and flying pigeon on triggerplate. The buttstock is a pistol grip configuration that is checkered in standard SC pattern with checkered side panels and is missing the grip cap. The comb has been spliced with a new piece of wood added. Checkered trigger. CONDITION: Good. Barrel retains about 80% of their original blue finish. Action has turned mostly silver though engraving is still well defined. Trigger guard is mostly silvered. The action is very gummed up and barrels will not release off of action. Stocks retain most of an older restored finish and there are separations in wood at muzzle end of forend that need attention. Gun has no buttplate or pad. With some restorative efforts, this will turn in to a dandy trap gun.
