Octagonal Damascus steel smoothbore barrel with engraved and double silver banded patent breech, top fitted with sights. Mounted with a steel swivelling ramrod. Scroll engraved back action percussion lock, tail engraved "SMITH LONDON". Partially figured circassian walnut stock with checkered panels around grip. Blued trigger guard engraved with scrolls. CONDITION: Very good, overall. Barrel retains 90-95% finishes with some light wear and muzzle and light fading. Lock retains a mostly light grey patina with some case colors in protected areas, very crisp mechanically. Stock very good with a few minor storage marks. A very nice large-bore English pistol.
