This is a Breda made, in Italy, M1 Garand. Made under contract for Denmark with "Danish crown/ FKR" receiver marking. All parts are marked either "BMB" or "BMR" which is correct for the Breda made guns. Barrel is marked "B.SID.71 1955" on the right side. Original Italian manufactured stock is marked on the left side "BMR" and also has the matching serial number of the gun stamped into it. There do not appear to be any import marks on this gun. CONDITION: Retains 90% finish overall. All markings are sharp and clear. Fine mechanical function. Stocks are very good showing wear with dings and handling marks. Bore is dirty with fine sharp rifling.
