Fine post war arsenal rebuilt Winchester M1 Garand rifle with 1943 manufactured receiver. This is the desirable WIN-13 variation, made at the end of the Winchester garand production, numbering less than 40,000 out of over a half million manufactured. SA marked barrel dated 3-65. Winchester marked bolt and trigger group. Walnut stock with "P" in square stock mark. Comes with CMP pamphlet. CONDITION: Very fine as arsenal refurbished. Muzzle exhibits a "2". Throat is "2" and bore is bright and shiny. Barrel and action and hardware retain 90% of arsenal repark. Stock retains 90% of arsenal refinish. Correct sights and mechanically sound. these select grade M1 Garand rifles were offered on a lottery based distribution from the Civilian Marksmanship Program and not are frequently offered for sale.
