Exceptional Harrington & Richardson M1 Garand rifle with correct H&R barrel dated 2-56. H&R marked bolt and trigger group. H&R stock with Department of Defense Acceptance Stamp and P in circle visible proof. This rifles appears correct and not a restored or rebuilt. Comes with original DD Form 1348-1. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine Barrel retains 98% arsenal finish along with the action and hardware. Bore is excellent with a TE of 1 and a muzzle of 1. Stock retains 98% arsenal finish with sharp edges and light handling marks. A large portion of the H&R production remained in the Korean peninsula after the conflict. The remaining rifles were typically rebuilt and utilized by our armed forces. Exceptional examples like this are not frequently encountered.
