Rare and early 1914 dated three digit with no suffix serial number DWM Artillery Luger. Features include round barrel with inverted V fine tune front sight, nine position fine tune artillery rear sight, toggle action, finely checkered walnut grips, straw small parts, and eight round detachable box magazine. 1914 Dated chamber with "DWM" in scroll on the center toggle link. Extractor is marked "Geladen" and safety is marked "Geschert" in the upper position. This is an all matching numbers gun except the magazine. The magazine is number 9561+ and is the correct nickel magazine with wood bottom. CONDITION: Grips have fine and sharp checkering with no cracks or chips and are not numbered. Fair bore showing some pitting in the grooves. Gun has approximately 85% of the original factory rust blue finish. Showing just a few handling marks and thinning on the barrel. The side plate shows some slight pitting and high edge wear straw small parts are 65%. A very rare and hard to find in this condition gun. Would make a great addition to any Luger collection.
