Manufactured from 1909 through 1927 at Koishikawa Arsenal in Tokyo. 3-1/4" barrel and chambered for the proprietary 7mm Nambu cartridge. The life of the Baby Nambu was short lived as they were very expensive to produce and where not the preferred officers accessory. Two piece checkered walnut grips with grip safety and is a miniature version of the 1904 or PAPA Nambu. Finished is a high polish rust blue with arsenal marking over chamber and serial numbered on right side. CONDITION: Very fine with most all original finish remaining. Some very slight pitting is evident on bottom of barrel and high point wear The bore is bright and shiny with sharp rifling. The grips are excellent with sharp rifling and no damage. The external parts are matching with out detailed disassembly. The magazine is matching. TDW
