Military inspector stamps include "D", "R" and "W" found on various parts. Two piece walnut grips with inspector cartouche on left panel, "OWA" Orville W. Ainsworth. CONDITION: 50% original high polish factory blue on barrel and loading lever. 80-90% blue on cylinder and frame, most still brilliant 50% blue on straps. No color on hammer. Excellent grips. Strong, defined rifling. Action operates correctly. Far above average New Model Army.
