Approximately 2,000 to 3,000 manufactured 1860 to 1862 only. Top of barrel is stamped with Beals patent. Martially marked Beals range between 895 to 1748. Military inspector letters include "P", "W", "H" and "HH". Very scarce and hard to find Civil War model. Features octagon barrel, solid frame brass trigger guard, two piece walnut grips, non-fluted cylinder. Inspector stamps found on just about every major piece. CONDITION: All metal is basically grey patina with sharp lettering. Excellent grips. Strong bore. Indexes and locks up correctly.
