2,000 manufactured between 1891 and 1894. This barrel has been shortened from the original 7-1/2" to 5-3/4" with sight being set back. This was Remington's last 19th century big bore single action. All proper markings. CONDITION: All metal is in attic-found patina with salt and pepper freckling. Period ivory grips have shrunk a bit. Lanyard ring has been removed. Timing is a tick off. Well defined rifling with usual black powder pitting. This gun has a homogenous, attic-found look and should be eminently shootable.
