This lovely rifle features full octagon barrel, button magazine, sporting sights, Lyman tang sight, blued finish, pistol grip checkered walnut stock, checkered walnut forend, Winchester black composite grip cap and rifle butt. CONDITION: This rifle has seen some use but has been well cared for. Barrel retains 95% plus original blue with sharp legends and edges. Frame retains approximately 75% original high polish blue, balance turning soft gun metal grey. Stocks are excellent to near mint, proud to metal with sharp checkering and a few minor bumps. Fine action. Strong rifling with sharp edges and clean grooves. Very handsome semi-deluxe. Factory research states serial number applied June 1st, 1916. No other information available.
