This rifle was ordered with numerous special features including half octagon barrel, half magazine, takedown, folding express rear sight, German nickel blade sporting front sight, Winchester black composite shotgun buttplate and grip cap, pistol grip walnut stock with no checkering, plain walnut forend, and case colored hammer and lever. CONDITION: This rifle retains lots of all original factory condition. Barrel and tube retain approximately 95% original factory blue with some light age freckling. Forend cap is a blue-brown patina. Frame and takedown ring retain approximately 85% of the brilliant factory blue. Rear tang is turning patina. 50% nitre blue on loading gate. Some brilliant case colors on lever and hammer. Screws are straight. Stock is excellent, proud to metal with usual minor bruises. Strong, visible rifling with frosted grooves. Very handsome special order rifle. Factory research states serial number was applied May 13th, 1907. No other information available.
