Rare Lifetime Furniture Co., Grand Rapids, Mich., Arts & Crafts Buffet/Server in quartersawn oak, Unique variant of Model No. 5160. Excellent pinned mortise and tenon construction with lower shelf, plate rack, and through tenons. The arched stretchers under the drawer and the lower side stretchers along with the hardware make this piece very desirable, and possibly one of a kind. These design features are not present on the cataloged version of the same model number. The hardware on this server retains their original patina, and are uniquely mounted over vertical inlays of quartersawn oak. Original finish. Signed inside drawer with "Lifetime Furniture" decal, and again on back with original "Lifetime Furniture" paper label marked with "Suite No. 5160". Structurally sound, solid and sturdy. Some scratches, marks and wear to top consistent with age and use.
