Rare Early Onondaga Shops (Handcraft/L&JG Stickley) slat-sided Morris Chair No. 798 in quartersawn oak with excellent, super plush down-filled leather cushions. This chair is the earlier version of this form and is unsigned as is almost every pieces from the Onondaga Shops period. Note the beautiful curves on the back of the arms versus the straight cut angles seen on the later version (No. 498). The original drop-in rope frame is present and included. There is also a very nice custom-made leather wrapped drop-in board included for added support. Factory marked with model number in pencil. Skimmed original finish. Some scratches and wear consistent with age and use.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
