This Colt pre-war Ace started life as a standard production, blued, semi-automatic A1 Model. Pistol was customized at one time with a micro-target adjustable rear sight, hand checkered trigger and contemporary diamond checkered wood grips. All other correct pre-war checkered parts. Comes with a proper "COLT ACE" stamped two tone tempered magazine. Visible takedown line on left side of frame. Grip straps are grey. Balance of gun retains approximately 85-90% original factory blue with overall high edge and muzzle wear. Bore has extremely strong lands and shiny grooves. Fine action.
