Made in 1927. Saddle ring carbine with ring intact. Carbine butt with nice figure walnut stocks. Lyman tang sight with plugged rear sight dovetail and Marbles front sight. Nickel steel barrel. Comes with original factory letter. CONDITION: Barrel retains 85% original blue with slight wear near the end of the barrel. Crisp markings on barrel and receiver. Bore is bright and shiny. Action blue has flaked off to about 60% with some slight pitting. Lever blue remains in the protected areas. Buttplate and front band have turned silver with some oxidation. Stock and forearm retain 80% hand rubbed finish with minor dings and handling marks. Mechanically sound and functions fine.
