Offered is an early Remington Model 760 that features hand checkered walnut stock prior to pressed checkering. All metal is in blued finish, Walnut stocks are checkered with pistol grip cap and Pachmayr waffle pad. Topped with a Lyman All American 2-1/2x 1" tube scope with Weaver quick release mounts. Features round barrel, ramp front sight, folding leaf sporting rear sight, solid frame. CONDITION: Overall metal retains 95% or better original blue with minor high edge wear. Walnut stocks are excellent o near mint, proud to metal with sharp checkering and a couple of minor handling marks. Line and post optics are clear. Fine action. well defined rifling with frosted grooves. Comes with sling.
