Manufactured by Erfurt for the German Military. Features include; round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, V notch rear sight on rear link, thumb safety marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position, extractor marked "GELADN", center toggle link marked "ERFURT". 1917 1920 double date over the chamber. CONDITION: Gun retains approximately 75% of the arsenal re-applied blue finish. Strawed small parts. fair bore with warn lands and grooves. All matching number gun except grips and magazine. The 1920 is a property mark, after the Treaty of Versailles. Rear toggle link is cracked. This gun should be inspected by a competent gun smith before firing.
