1918 dated DWM Artillery luger. Features include; Round barrel with inverted V front sight and nine position artillery rear sight. Toggle action. Finley checkered walnut grips. Straw small parts. Eight round detachable box magazine. 1918 dated chamber with DWM in scroll on the center toggle link. Extractor is marked Geladen and safety is marked Geschert in the upper position. This is a non-matching numbers gun. The complete top of the gun is number 4868b and the bottom part of the gun is number3180b. Beach field replacement grips have fine and sharp checkering with no cracks or chips and are not numbered. CONDITION: Poor bore showing some pitting in the grooves. Gun has approximately 70% of the original factory rust blue finish. Showing just a few handling marks and high edge wear. Straw small parts are 50%. The magazine is a police nickel with aluminum bottom marked 1 9662. Comes with an original artillery holster with a reproduction cleaning rod and a reproduction stock.
