A classical bronze of a muscular Olympic Greek fighting athlete, a sword and wreath raised in his right hand, holding his helmet in his other hand, raised on a olive green marble base. Structurally very good with medium brown color and undisturbed patina, a series of small scratches or scrape marks on the right hip bone, 20" tall. Note: The bronze was produced in 1910 as referenced on Page 908 in volume four of a four volume publication titled "Bronzes: Sculptors & Founders 1800-1930" by Harold Berman and published by Schiffer. Raised on a black marble pedestal base.
