This gun appears to be a conglomeration of parts. 1862 dated Colt Special Model 1861 lock plate. 1864 dated contract barrel. All parts appear to be originals with the exception of the ramrod that is a reproduction. CONDITION: Lock plate appears to have been plated at some point. All other metal parts are cleaned to bright. Markings are clear in metal. Wood has been sanded and refinished, no visible inspectors markings. Bore has fair rifling. Lock is in good working order.
