Manufactured 1954-1955. Smith & Wesson's premier .357 Magnum built pre-model number. Built on the square butt N frame with pinned barrel, recessed chambers, case colored target hammer and trigger, checkered top strap and rib, red ramp front sight, adjustable target rear sight, five screw frame and proper style black disc diamond checkered walnut grips. When grips are removed factory marks indicate that this gun was original blue and it has the renickel stamp. Grips are numbered "202118" but fit perfectly. CONDITION: Retains 99% of the factory nickel finish with usual light handling marks. Cylinder has light drag line. Indexes and locks up like new. Strong rifled bore.
