Manufactured 1912 to 1935. The Model 14 existed until 1919 when it became the Model 14A. After 1924 they were all stamped "MODEL 14". Features full round barrel, half magazine recognized by twist to offset the spire-point bullets, sporting sights, blued finish, case colored slide arm, grooved round walnut forend, takedown, pistol grip walnut stock. Cartridge head set into left receiver to determine caliber. CONDITION: Barrel retains 90% original blue. Frame retains approximately 90% original blue, thinning at base with some light age freckling. Buttstock is solid but there is crazing to the finish. Flashes of case color on arm. If the stock was properly refinished, this could really be a beautiful rifle. Strong rifling. The combination of the short, fast pump action rifle and the large .35 caliber makes for one of the best brush hunting rifles ever made. If you try one, you'll fall in love with this handle little deer rifle.
