Standard features include full round barrel, copper bead front sight, takedown, blued finish, walnut forend, black ebony tip, walnut buttstock and rifle butt. Lyman receiver sight added. Rear sight slot has filler. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 95% original high polish factory blue with razor sharp legends. Takedown ring retains traces of original blue but is basically grey patina. Receiver retains approximately 85-90% blue with high edges blending to grey patina. Lever retains most of the blue with high edge wear. Magazine retains 85% original blue with usual lever rubs and grey at forward tip. Thinning on handle. Wood is excellent, proud to metal with usual impressions. Rear sling swivel has been removed but metal collar is intact. Fine working order. Sharp rifling with mirror bore. Extremely clean and popular .30-06 takedown, one of the more desirable calibers and barrel lengths in this model.
