This fine antique rifle features an octagon to round barrel, full magazine, sporting front sight, Lyman two leaf folding rear sight, blued finish, tang sight, walnut stocks, rifle butt and case colored hammer and lever. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 85% original blue blending with soft patina, and there is one 1" brown oval spot on top of barrel. Barrel has razor sharp legends and edges. Full blued magazine retaining 90% finish with high edge wear. Sides of frame retain 50-60% high polish blue blending harmoniously with soft patina; left side showing typical striations. Nice touches of case colors on sides of hammer and lever. Walnut stocks are in nice condition, proud to metal with no cracks and only usual minor handling marks. Strong lands and grooves. Fine action.
