These rifles that were employed as German Army training rifles before and during the war are extremely durable and accurate. The KKW was the second and final training rifle approved by the SA during the Nazi Regime, hence the "SA" property mark on stock. There is a fantastic new book that has been compiled by long time dealer, Robert Simpson entitled "Training Rifles of the Third Reich Germany" that covers these rifles in detail. Coverage of this model begins on page 223. This rifle has been sporterized by shortening the forend and stock and removing the rear barrel band. Fine bore and action but has been cut.
