Manufactured in 1890. 22 inch round carbine barrel with pedestal carbine front sight and ladder adjustable carbine rear sight. Two line Winchester barrel address with chamber marked 45-70. Two piece nicely figured American walnut stocks with steel carbine butt plate. Rich and vivid case colored receiver with saddle ring mounted on right side of receiver. CONDITION. near new as completely professionally restored. All contemporarily applied markings are crisp and legible. Blue finishes on barrel, magazine, band and butt plate are as new. The custom applied case color finish on the receiver , hammer and lever are vivid and bright with no losses. The walnut stocks are expertly fit and finished. Bore is pristine and action is crisp and properly functioning. This is an exemplary restoration of an 1890 production Winchester. TDW
