The Model 1890 was only manufactured from 1891 to 1894 with approximately 2,000 manufactured, making it one of the harder-to-find big bore sidearms of the Western period. This example features blued finish, six shot, single action with monogram black composite grips and lanyard ring. ".44 CFW" on left side of frame. "REMINGTON" stamp on barrel. Revolver retains approximately 95% of the reapplied blue finish. There are numerous areas of dimpling under the blue. Grips are modern replacements. Indexes and locks up correctly. Strong rifling with numerous areas of pitting in lands. Should be a good cowboy shooter or an excellent restoration project.
