In two parts having cove molded cornice above the straight frieze fitted to the upper case of astragal-glazed doors, stepped back on the lower case. Single drawer with hinged front and tooled leather writing surface fitted with arrangement of drawers and cubby holes over a pair of cupboard doors with figured Mahogany and string inlay oval panels. Raised on shaped French feet. Old polished surface with veneer shrinking, cracking and losses to the top of the lower case and shrinkage cracks to lower cupboard doors. Provenance: From a fine private Long Island, New York collection.
